The fixed station is composed of a wireless transceiver connected to a power source. This transceiver is fed by +13.6 VDC, the power supply represents the conversion of electrical energy (110Vac / 220Vac) to +13.6 VDC.

The fixed station antenna is different from that of a mobile radio, it can have more gain and therefore more powerful irradiation, reaching remote locations. In areas where the altitude of the antenna is higher communications can get even better. The fixed station serves different market segments. For example, in a freight company, the fixed radio can be used by the Central to request the collection of material from the client, by the vehicle that is closest to the region. Thus, it makes operations easier and optimizes resources (without monthly costs)
